'나 또는 '우리'를 의미하는 한자인 '아(我)'와 '아산'이라는 지역명을 결합하여, 우리의 고향과 자아를 상징합니다. 동시에 지역민에게는 친근한 고향으로, 타 지역 사람들에게는 객관적인 지역명으로 아산과 충남을 새롭게 바라보는 이중적 의미를 전달하고자 합니다.
이번 전시에서는 아산과 충남을 기반으로 활동하는 작가들이 각자의 독창적인 시선으로 '아(我)산'을 해석하며, 지역의 정서와 감수성, 그리고 문화적 가치를 다양한 작품을 통해 담아냅니다. 작품들은 '아(我)산'과 충남을 다채로운 시각으로 표현하며, 지역의 고유한 매력과 의미를 재발견합니다. 이를 통해 '아(我)산'과 충남에 대한 새로운 관점을 얻고, 각 작가가 자신만의 시선으로 바라본 '아(我)산'과 충남을 깊이 있게 경험할 수 있습니다.
Perspective :'아(我)산' 을 바라보는 시선'은 지역 작가의 다양한 해석과 시각이 모여 지역의 의미를 재발견하고, 그 가치를 함께 나누는 전시가 되기를 희망합니다.

The combination of the character '아(我)', which represents "I" or "we," and the name of the region 'Asan' symbolises both our hometown and identity. At the same time, it conveys a dual meaning: to the locals, it represents a familiar hometown, while to those from other areas, it serves as an objective place name, offering a new perspective on Asan and Chungnam.
In this exhibition, artists based in Asan and Chungnam interpret '아(我)산' through their unique viewpoints, capturing the region's emotions, sensitivities, and cultural values in their diverse works. The pieces express '아(我)산' and Chungnam from various perspectives, rediscovering the unique charm and significance of the area. Through this, the exhibition provides a new perspective on '아(我)산' and Chungnam, allowing each artist to present a deeper experience of the region through their individual lens.
The perspective titled "A View of '아(我)산'" hopes to be an exhibition where the diverse interpretations and viewpoints of local artists come together to rediscover the meaning of the region and share its value.
